SMITHFIELD, RI Chester E. Oldakowski, 60, of 21 Randell Street, died at home on Saturday, March 10, 2007.

He leaves his mother, Lorraine D. (Mathieu) Oldakowski of Greenville, RI; a close friend, Constance Sylva of Chepachet, RI; aunts, uncles and cousins. His brother, James J. Oldakowski, died in 2003. He was born and raised in Wayne, New Jersey, son of the late Charles J. Oldakowski, and lived in Smithfield since 1971. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked in automotive sales, Woonsocket, for many years.
