Halloween Night

The door slammed shut and the lights flickered off, it was Halloween night. The wind howled like a werewolf and their bones crackled like skeletons as the fright of the night just started. The monsters all rose out of their graves and gathered together in the graveyard. They then went out for hours of scaring everyone they saw. At the end of the night the monsters got back into their graves because Halloween was done.

The door slammed shut and "boom!'' a crash of thunder scared the ghost. The ghost ran and ran until he bumped into the nice wolf and they walked through the house together. Then they met a silly monster who told them jokes and made then laugh. Now, no one was scared!

The Super Scary Night

The door slammed shut and ... three ghosts came at Erica's house! Erica felt super scared! "What do you want?'' asked Erica. "Trick-or-treat!'' said the ghosts. Erica gasped. "Have some candy,'' said Erica. It was just some trick-or-treaters. "I almost forgot,'' gasped Erica, "I need to dress up!'' It was Halloween. "Bye!'' said the ghosts. "We hope the rest of your night is not super scary!'' So Erica had a not so super scary night after all.

The door slammed shut and I hear circus music. The lights flick on I see clowns with giant hammers. They were closing in. I thought clowns were supposed to be nice and then I hear a clown behind me and it said if you don't buy a balloon I will not save you. I pulled out a $10 bill. He opens the door and then he brings me to this door. "Go in there.'' he said. I say, "No way,'' he grabs me hard and throws me in. The walls close in and then I see nothing. Dear readers, never go to a circus. You have no idea what a circus has for you.

The doors and windows were opening and closing. I was scared out of my wits. I shook and then I saw a skeleton darting after me. It chased me into an abandoned house. I hid in a closet and there was a mummy. I screamed. I went outside and there was a lion in the water. The lion tilted his head and saw a gazelle. The lion said a come and have some dinner? The gazelle said "OK.'' The lion ate the gazelle...I ran.

The door slammed shut in 1826. The wind was howling. My sister and I were so tired coming back from apple picking. Something is happening in our house so me and my sister went at night and we found an abandoned house. At the front of the house there was toilet paper and there was a skeleton. Its bones were made out of diamonds and gold. I opened the door. It sounded like an old lady. My sister took the first step, "creek, creek.'' Seven mice rushing down the halls. We were so scared. It was a haunted house.

It was cold. So cold my feet were frozen to the ground. The cold didn't bother me though. I was confused. Where was I? I was being chased by a child-eating Cyclops. I was frightened. Then I remembered; I was Elsa "the Snow Queen.'' Not holding back, I burst out a "Let it go!'' and shot out ice. Running to the closest door, it slammed shut, and my fingers were stuck. I had no place to go. I felt a hand slither up my back. I screamed...

One day a fly went to a frog's house. The frog said, "let me serenade you with a feast, you sweet, kind fly.'' "No!'' The fly said. It was starting to thunder. The fly was scared "Don't worry my angel, you'll be fine.'' The fly did not buy it. "Why don't you take a looong bite of my pie,'' the frog said. "Well, it does look good. I will give it a try.'' The fly bit into it. Then the frog said, "say your goodbyes,'' and the fly was gone.

The door slammed shut and my family and I screamed. A light turned on and made the room green. A man in a mask appeared. He said you have two choices. The green spell or the red spell. We all chose the green spell because we thought red was evil. We all took a sip and it was Gatorade! The man took off the mask and the man said ha-ha. I scared you so badly. It was my dad. We all started laughing and then we went to the TV room and watched a scary movie! The End.

I walked into my new house and dropped all of my stuff. I went to look around. I examined all the rooms. The weird thing was, none of my rooms had doors. Then I came to the last room. It had a door. I opened the door, squeeeeek. I walked in and I slowly let go of the door and SLAM! The door shut on me. I tried to open it, but it was locked: Locked like someone had locked it from the outside. No key, no windows - nothing. What should I do?

The door slammed shut and I turned my head and looked at the door really fast. I was scared. It was even scarier because I was home alone. I went to my friend's house and, on the way there, I saw bikes laying on the street and car windows smashed. When I got there, I walked in. The door slammed shut! I ran to the door and it locked. Then I heard a laugh. It sounded like a ghost.

Creak, creak, creak ... "Come here,'' said a voice. It was a cat. "Hello intelligent mouse, would you like to come to my house?'' "Oh, no. Thank you, good sir, but I am much too tired.'' "Wait! Please don't go. I'm lonely. Want to play?'' the cat asked with a grin on his face. "Oh, no. Much too busy. My house is a mess.'' "Wait. You want dinner at my house?'' asked the cat. "Oh, no. I have to go for a walk.'' "Wait. Please, how about a sleep-over?'' asked the cat. "''Oh, yes, yes, yes,'' yelped the mouse. When he got there, he said., "I need to get something from my house.'' "OK,'' said the cat. "Ouch!'' screamed the cat. The mouse had got him in a trap and pushed him into the lake, never to be seen again.

Ding Dong. Creak. When the door opened, there standing in front of me was a tall, ugly man with a huge wart. "Hello pretty.'' "Trick-or-treat,'' I said with a smile. Then, the ugly guy dropped an unwrapped chocolate in my hand. When he shut the door, I ran to my house. When I got home, I ate my chocolate. Ding Dong. I slowly opened the door. "Hello pretty,'' said a tall, ugly zombie with an ax.

A cold shiver ran up my back as I stumbled through the cemetery to get home. It was Halloween night and I was walking alone. Well, that's what I thought. The pace of my feet was increasing every time. I heard a wolf howl to the moon, "Ooooooo,'' or an owl hoot, "Who, who whooo.'' Then, I heard an ugly moan. I quickly turned around and there was the dead rising right before my eyes. I started to run. I tripped and a zombie grabbed me and ...

The door slammed shut and a slight chill brushes the room. Goose bumps appear. I creak open the door. Nothing; no figure, no one's there. I look around. It appears to be a child's bedroom, with everything from a China doll to dusty teddy bears and a diary on the floor. I flip to a page that read "May 5, 1906.'' I was stunned, but I kept reading. "I have heard screams, moving furniture, weird sounds. This house is haunted.'' The last word was smudged. I heard a scream. It came from the attic ...

"Help!'' was heard by Mary the mouse, walking into the empty, large den. She yelled, "Is someone there?'' No one answered. She tried again. Then, out came a sly snake, who appeared from the darkness that seemed to go on forever. He said, "My name is Ssssam the snake. Why, beautiful mouse, would you like some dinner after after your long journey?'' "No, thanks,'' said the mouse. "I must be going.'' "Oh, just stay for a little BITE to eat.'' "OK,'' Mary said. One dinner won't hurt.'' But, little does she know ... it might. She sits down and slingshots into his mouth, never to be seen again.

One morning it was 3 a.m. and something woke me up and said, "Hey, do you want to go to the basement?'' I thought it was my brother, so I said, "No,'' and went to sleep. Then, five minutes later, he came back. I looked over. I saw him and my brother. It was a ghost. I was so scared. We packed our things and ran out the front door. We drove home.

The door slammed shut and I said to myself, "It probably was just the wind.'' "Ha, ha, ha.'' "Who's there? Come out,'' I said. "Oh, sweetie, I'm in the basement. Why don't you come down?'' "I don't trust you,'' I said. "Why not?'' "I don't know you.'' "Well, come and find me.'' Creak, creak, creak, the floor went. "Come, come, come down,'' she sang. I started to...
