WORCESTER Irma Bernice (Bolitzer) Bernstein, 76, of 240 Belmont St., died on Thursday, November 1st in UMass Memorial Healthcare.

Her husband, Leonard Bernstein, died in 1974. She leaves two sons: Barry Bernstein and his wife Diana of Holden and Howard Bernstein and his wife Dana Burns of Seattle, Washington; a daughter, Leslie Bernstein of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Bernard Bolitzer of Saugerties, NY and two grandsons: Alexander and Joshua Bernstein. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ellen Bernstein.

She was born in Philadelphia and was the daughter of Joseph and Blanche (Potamkin) Bolitzer and had lived in Worcester for 36 years.

She had been employed by the Parks Dept. of the City of Worcester for 15 years, before retiring.
