SUDBURY Mrs. Irmgard Murray, of Sudbury, died at her residence, Thursday, July 24, 2008, following and illness of eleven years. She was 72.

Born in Ruken, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elvira (Neuman) Knekties. A resident of Sudbury since 1984, she was the wife for 26 years of Richard Murray. A homemaker, Mrs. Murray liked to work in arts and crafts and ceramics. She also liked camping and snowmobiling and she especially enjoyed traveling to her summer home, in husband's original area, in Canada.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she leaves her children and their spouses; Dorothy and Robert Danforth of Troy, Maine; Vivian and Edward Farrell of Walpole, MA; Michael and Margalice McClanahan of Mansfield, MA and Ronald McClanahan of Sudbury.
