WORCESTER E. Louise (Gardner) Tuttle, 94 of Briarwood continuing Care community, formerly of Hopedale, Mendon and Milford, died January 5, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was the wife of Stanly W. Tuttle, former Vice President of the Milford National Bank, who died in 1997.

She was born in Milford, daughter of the late George and Alice (Rumble) Gardner and was raised and attended schools in Milford, Westborough, and Bellingham.

Mrs. Tuttle's life was focused on family and friends within her community. She was a member of the Grange, the Milford Methodist Church and the Medfield Chorus. Throughout her life she enjoyed caring for people close to her and her home, as well as neighbors she befriended.

She is survived by two daughters: Dr. Cynthia Tuttle of Deerfield, MA, mathematics educator, and Dr. Elaine Tuttle Hansen, President of Bates College, Lewiston, Maine; three grandchildren, Daniel Mark Tuttle, L.C.S.W. of Atlanta...
