HUDSON Robert O. Bickford, 80, of Hudson died Tues. May 1 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law in Linwood after an illness. He is survived by his 8 children, Nancy Aldrich of CA, Susan Chambers of South Boston, Christine Markey of Linwood, Edward Lee Bombria and Tracy Bombria both of N. Carolina, Kimberly Bombria of Nevada, Denice Newman of NH, Marlene Colonair of Douglas; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he received great enjoyment from; his former wife Sharon (Despres) Bickford of Whitinsville; a brother, Donald Bickford of Maine; 2 sisters, Barbara Schleyer of Hudson with whom he lived and Joyce Wright of Maine; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and good friends. He was predeceased by a son, Robert O. Bickford Jr. Born in Oxford on Feb. 19, 1927 he was the son of Fred and Helen (Elia) Bickford and lived in Hudson many years.
