GIRLS' BASKETBALL

Sutton 55, Blackstone-Millville 22: Senior guard Keri Doldoorian scored her 1,000th career point, on a jumper with 6:19 left in the second quarter for the seventh-ranked Suzies (13-3, 7-1 Dual Valley) at home.

Doldoorian finished with a game-high 18 points, and sophomore Erin Messier had 11 points and 12 rebounds for Sutton.

The Chargers are 3-12, 0-6 in the DVC.

AMSA 33, Bay Path 22: Sarah Seymour scored 15 points, and Isabella Russell had 10 for the visiting Eagles (8-9).

Keila Vasquez and Gabrielle Bailey each scored seven points for the Minutemen (1-17).

Douglas 36, Oxford 24: Allison Hester netted a team-high 12 points to lead the host Tigers (12-4).

Lauren Puishys led all scorers with 13 points for the Pirates (4-11).

Nipmuc 39, Whitinsville Christian 21: Senior Elana Fazio led all scorers with 19 points for the host Warriors (7-8, 2-7 Dual Valley). Meredith Collins grabbed nine rebounds for Nipmuc.

Molly Stark scored 11 points for the Crusaders (8-9, 3-5).

South 42, St. Mary's 12: Senior Colleen Kempskie had 19 points and 12 rebounds to lift the visiting Colonels (9-9) over the Eagles (4-12).

Jamilex Alonzo added eight points for South.

Worcester Academy 59, Navy Prep 39: Jill Marois scored 12 points as the host Hilltoppers (10-7) forced 15 turnovers in the first half and cruised past Navy Prep (7-9).

BOYS' BASKETBALL

Leicester 54, David Prouty 43: Mike Ferraro had 17 points and Corey Matthews added 11 to power the visiting Wolverines to their first win of the season.

Leicester is 1-16, 1-13 in SWCL play.

Zach Howard and Stephan Beahn had 10 points each for David Prouty (4-13, 1-14).

Northbridge 53, Millbury 41: Senior guard Alex Cone scored a game-high 12 points and senior center Harrison Murphy finished with 10 points and 18 rebounds as the host Rams (14-2) clinched the SWCL East title. Jason Ganley chipped in with 11 points for Northbridge.

Senior guard Brian Balkus scored 11 points for the Woolies.

Pomfret 68, Bancroft 58: Melvin Kaska had 19 points to lead the visiting Bulldogs (11-9). D.J. Fajana had 15 points, and Gray Gibson scored 10 for Bancroft.

Quaboag 58, Bartlett 49: Senior Nick Kobel (12 points) notched his 1,000th point for the visiting Indians (11-6, 9-6 SWCL) on a 3-pointer with four minutes left, but the Cougars (12-4, 10-4) prevailed.

Josh Toppin, Thomas Jankins and Jake Wisniewski each scored 18 points for Quaboag.
