WESTBORO - A $2.2 million expansion of the town's sewer system; replacing the library's heating, air conditioning and ventilation system; and vehicle replacements top the warrant for next week's special town meeting.

The special town meeting will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the Westboro High School auditorium and gymnasium, 90 W. Main St.

If approved, the sewer expansion will include Fox Lane, then cross to Belknap Street, Crownridge Road, Lee Ann Circle, Spring Road, Morse Street and Adams Street. Funding for the project will be borrowed from the Massachusetts Water Pollution Abatement Trust. The Advisory Finance Committee recommends approval of the article.

The Westboro Public Library is seeking approval to replace its 30-year-old HVAC system, which has been deemed a top priority by the Capital Planning Expenditure Committee for fiscal 2012. Town officials received a report on the system replacement earlier this week, and the project is estimated to cost between $450,000 and $700,000. A recommendation will be made by both the Board of Selectmen and the Advisory Finance Committee on town meeting floor.
