LUNENBURG -- Voters at the annual town meeting May 3 will be asked to consider a $29 million annual town budget, "right to farm'' and medical marijuana dispensary bylaws and the purchase of 168 acres for conservation.

The town meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in Lunenburg High School auditorium.

On the 30-article warrant is a request for just over $29 million for the fiscal year 2015 annual town budget.

The proposed budget is up from this year's just under $28.2 million.

Voters will also be asked to approve the purchase of the 168-acre Lane property, which would be placed in conservation and used to provide access to town forest land.

The "right to farm'' bylaw would encourage farming in the community and the protection of farm land.
