WORCESTER - Bail money totaling $75,000 was forfeited to the state treasury yesterday in Worcester Superior Court.

The money had been posted with the court Dec. 17 to secure the release from custody of Angel Brea, 31, of Leominster, who is under indictment on drug-trafficking charges. A warrant was issued for Mr. Brea's arrest March 24 after he failed to make a scheduled court appearance.

Judge Kathe M. Tuttman found Mr. Brea in default that day; he scheduled a hearing yesterday to determine whether the $75,000 posted on his behalf by a Gardner woman would be forfeited to the state treasury.
