LANCASTER -- Angela M. Algieri, 102, of Lancaster, Mass., and formerly of Westerly, R.I., passed away at Oakdale Nursing Home, in West Boylston, on Friday, Dec. 6.

She was the wife of the late Louis J. Algieri.

Born in Acri, Province of Cosenza, Italy, she was a daughter of the late John and Rosa Algiere.

Mrs. Algieri was a wonderful cook and hostess who enjoyed preparing holiday celebrations for family and friends. Her skill and enthusiasm for gardening was well-known and she also enjoyed collecting antiques and glass figurines.

She worked in domestic service in the Watch Hill area for many years and was a communicant of St. Pius X Church.

She leaves her son, Louis G. "Greg'' Algieri of Lancaster; her daughter, Patricia L. Masarik of Vinton, Va; her siblings, Evelyn Algiere Anderson of Westerly, R.I., Joseph Algiere of Maryland and Theresa Algiere Pucci and Franklin Algiere, both of Westerly...
