Anni (Kalabund) Krals.

WORCESTER Anni (Kalabund) Krals, 89, of Worcester, died Wednesday, September 28th 2011 in her home. Her husband of 40 years Alfred Krals died in 1997 and a son Helmut passed away in 2007.

She is survived by her son, Georg Iwaniuk and his wife Donna of Auburn; her brother, Waldemar Kalabund of Germany; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Guenther of Castle Rock, CO; six grandchildren, Heidi Drake, Lisa, Eric and Kurt Iwaniuk, Brian and Gary Guenther; eight great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces in Germany.

She was born in Leszczyna, Poland the daughter of Michael and Lillie (Thiele) Kalabund, and had moved to Connecticut in 1956, then returned to Germany and on October 3rd, 1957 returned with her family to Auburn.

Mrs. Krals had been a textile worker for several local companies among them Standard Yarn. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Anni enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her...
