LANCASTER Argeo A. Regonini, 84, of Magnolia Ave., passed away peacefully in his residence on Sunday, January 22, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Rosalie (Calcia) Regonini, and their son, Peter Regonini. He is survived by two sons, Dr. Anthony Regonini and his wife Irene of Chicopee; David Regonini and his wife Shirley of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Ellen Regonini of Pittsburg, CA; Mary Morgan and her husband Ken of Pepperell. He leaves two sisters, Joanne Cardamone of Lancaster; Helen McNamara and her husband Martin of Clinton; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Argeo was born in Clinton to the late Emilio and Elena (Valera) Regonini. He attended local school and graduated as Treasurer of the Clinton High School Class of 1945. Argeo proudly enlisted to serve our nation in the US Navy during WWII. His assignment began aboard the USS Mount McKinley, later patrolled with the cruiser St. Paul and ultimately returned to port on the final voyage of the USS Iowa.
