Arthur H. Labrie Jr., 87.

CHARLTON - Arthur Henry Labrie, 87, formerly of Auburn, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 in Overlook Masonic Nursing Home in Charlton, MA after an illness.

He leaves his daughter Joan A. Labrie of S. Yarmouth, MA, two sons; Laurence A. Labrie of Richmond, VA and David H. and wife Ann Labrie of Racine, WI, 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

He was born in Worcester; he was married to the late Audrey J. (Sweetser) Labrie for 60 years and he was the son of the late Arthur H. and Alice (Howard) Labrie.

Arthur served his country during World War II.

Arthur worked for Crompton and Knowles and as office manager at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, MA for many years. He served the town of Auburn as its Veterans' Service Officer for nearly 40 years.
