This figures to be one of the best games of the day, pitting a pair of Western Mass. top 10 teams, both headed to the Western Mass. playoffs. Athol, whose only blemish in a 9-1 season was a three-point loss to Frontier, is led by quarterback Eric LaFountain, who has run for 776 yards and nine touchdowns and passed for 15 scores. Athol's attack also features Jack O'Connell (497 yards rushing, 5.5 per carry, 5 TDs), Matt Kuniholm (394 yards, 8.9 per carry, 5 TDs rushing, 4 receiving) and Tyler Hood (34 catches, 13.3 yards per catch, 9 TDs receiving, 2 rushing). The Red Raiders will be out to avenge last year's home loss to the Senators. Athol had won the three previous years. Brian Beauchemin keyed Mahar's effort last Thanksgiving, running for 123 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He will be trying to help preserve the Senators' undefeated season this time. He has had a terrific year, including a 335-yard, five-TD effort against Sci-Tech last month. Beauchemin and teammate Isaiah Jones have each run for more than 1,000 yards this season.
