Barbara Zdrok, 76.

WEBSTER Barbara (Woznicki) Zdrok, 76, of Webster, died Sunday, October 2, 2011, in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester, with her family by her side. Her husband of 55 years, Edward Z. Zdrok, died in 2010.

She leaves a daughter, Lauri A. Joseph and her husband Paul M. Joseph of Dudley; a son, Edward P. Zdrok of Watchung, NJ; a granddaughter, Katie E. Joseph of Dudley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Schenectady, NY, the only daughter of Felix S. and Mary P. (Makarewicz) Woznicki, and lived here most of her life. She graduated from Bartlett High School and from Elizabeth Ollis School of Beauty Culture in Worcester.

Mrs. Zdrok first worked as a hairdresser at Barnard's in Worcester. She later worked at the American Optical Company in Southbridge, Webster Lens and Clark Prout Insurance Agency. She then was a clerk in the medical billing department of Hubbard Regional Hospital for many years...
