WILBRAHAM Robertine "Bobbie" (Tucker) Fountain, 82, of 15 Wright Place, passed away Friday, August 24th at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Worcester, MA to the late Daniel and Henrietta (Waldron) Tucker, she grew up in Charlton on the farm that had been in the Tucker family since the 1700's. She graduated from Charlton High School, and received her R.N. from the Nursing School of Memorial Hospital in Worcester. She practiced nursing for 40 years at both the former Wesson Hospital and Baystate Medical Center. She was a member of the Baystate Alumni.

She was married in 1948 to Gordon Fountain and they were 27-year residents of Springfield, before moving to Wilbraham 31 years ago. She was an active member of the former Hope Congregational Church in Springfield and Wilbraham United Church. She served on many boards and committees and was a faithful member of the "Called to Care" ministry as well as the Prayer-Study Group. In addition to her many charitable works, she loved to vacation at the family cottage in Chocolate Cove, Deer Island in New Brunswick, Canada.

Bobbie was predeceased by Gordon in December of 1996 and by her brother, George Tucker in May of this year.
