Boulders nip Tornadoes.

RAMAPO, N.Y. - Rockland scored three runs in the first inning and held on to record a 4-2 win at Provident Bank Park, evening their best-of-four series with Worcester at a game apiece.

The Tornadoes scratched out a run in the third inning, with Chris Colabello collecting a one-out single, advancing to second on a passed ball and scoring on an RBI single by Mark Minicozzi to make it 3-1.

Alex Nunez, who singled on the first pitch of the game to extend his hitting streak to 22 games, homered with two outs in the seventh to pull Worcester within a run, 3-2.

Nunez was 3 for 5, but the rest of the Tornadoes managed just four hits.
