RAMAPO, N.Y. - The Tornadoes finished a sweep of the New York Federals over the weekend by closing the series with a pair of two-hit shutouts. That streak ended in the bottom of the first inning last night.

The Rockland Boulders had their first six batters reach base, including two walks and a hit batsman, and scored five runs in the inning on their way to an 8-2 win last night at Provident Bank Park.

Shawn Gilblair got the start for the Tornadoes and only lasted 3-1/3 innings. He allowed eight hits and eight runs.

From there, the Tornadoes' bullpen was stellar. Matt McDonald came in first and allowed only two hits in 1-2/3 scoreless innings. Mike Gedman, Sean Gregory and Albert Ayala each...
