WHITINSVILLE -- Adam P. Lohnes has been promoted to vice president, commercial banking officer at UniBank and Michael Tudino has joined UniBank as assistant vice president, cash management sales.

Mr. Lohnes will be responsible for commercial banking relationship management and development throughout Central Massachusetts.

Mr. Tudino will provide cash management solutions to the bank's commercial banking customers.

Mr. Lohnes has been with UniBank for more than three years and has more than seven years of experience in commercial banking. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst's Isenberg School of Management in Economics and Sport Management. He also attended the Risk Management Association's Business Lending School.

Mr. Tudino has been specializing in cash management sales for nearly three years and has 10 years of experience in the banking industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Rhode Island and is a 2013 graduate of Leadership MetroWest's Leadership Academy.

MARLBORO -- Steve Ryan has joined Murphy Insurance Agency as a sales executive.

Mr. Ryan has 20-plus years of insurance industry experience, most recently as claims/IT director at NorthStar Insurance Services.

His special focus is on risks related to contractors and technology organizations. He works directly with business owners and risk managers across Massachusetts to create customized protection plans to manage and reduce financial risks in the areas of property, liability, commercial auto and worker's compensation.

Mr. Ryan holds a bachelor's degree from Worcester State University and is a member of the Metrowest Chamber of Commerce.

The Society of Financial Service Professionals announced that Anthony Bartlett of Northbridge has been elected secretary of the national organization.

Mr. Bartlett is a financial planner with Baystate Financial in Worcester. He has 23 years of expertise in financial planning and served on the National Board of the SFSP from 2010 to 2012. He was installed as secretary at the SFSP's annual meeting this month. Mr. Bartlett is a graduate of Springfield College and has his ChFC, CASL designations.

WORCESTER -- Bancroft School, a coeducational prekindergarten to Grade 12 college preparatory day school, has hired Tobey Fossey of Northboro as chief advancement officer, and Robert F. Rooney Jr. of Holden as chief financial officer.
