Nikki Boris was 3 for 4 with a double, a triple and two runs as the seventh-ranked Wildcats defeated the host Crusaders.

Nikki Pratt singled twice, drove in a run and scored a run, and Ashley Howe singled and drove in a run for Gardner (15-5).

Kate Johnson had a two-run single, and Tracey Atwood doubled and drove in a run for Groton-Dunstable (9-11).

Notre Dame 10, Burncoat 3

Senior shortstop Tina Lauring had three singles as the host Rebels defeated the Patriots.

Freshman third baseman Tatiana Chunis doubled and singled for Notre Dame (13-6).

Senior Elyssa Boykin doubled, singled and drove in two runs for Burncoat (9-11).

Junior Rachel Chisholm went 3 for 4 with four RBIs for the Panthers (14-6) in Holden.

Freshman catcher Jill Welch hit a solo home run and junior Kellie Martel went 2 for 5 for Quabbin.

Meg Dunbila went 3 for 4 for the Mountaineers (10-10).

West Boylston 5, North Brookfield 4

Sophomore right-hander Robin Sargent threw a three-hitter and struck out 10 for the eighth-ranked Lions (19-1).

Freshman Nicole Shepherd and sophomore Lauren Wilson each had two singles and drove in a run for West Boylston.

Center fielder Chelsea Staney hit an RBI triple for North Brookfield (1-17).

BASEBALL

Hudson 3, Algonquin 0

Mike Wood went the distance, hurling

a six-hitter, striking out seven and walking none, and Corey McDonald, Evan Childs and Ross Hayden each drove in a run as the No. 6 Hawks upset the No. 1 Tomahawks at Riverside Park.

McDonald doubled in Childs (2 for 3), who singled to lead off the inning, in the first. Childs had an RBI single in the second, and Hayden homered in the sixth for Hudson (15-6).

Rob Nicholas singled and doubled for Algonquin (14-5).

Clinton 10, Bromfield 1

Joel Nickerson was 3 for 3 with a two-run double, a three-run homer and an RBI single as the host No. 7 Gaels (18-2) ended their regular season with their seventh straight win.

Alex Rodriguez had two hits and scored three runs, while Dan Sweatland had two hits and an RBI in the win.

Joe Galeski had an RBI single for the Trojans (5-14).
