Clifton G. Laythe.

GRAFTON Clifton G. Laythe, 85, passed away March 2, 2010. He is survived by his sister, Marion Varney in Newport VT; three nephews: Bruce Laythe of Millbury, Kenny Laythe of Northbridge, Brian Laythe of Whitinsville; five nieces: Doreen Bruso of Millbury who was also his caregiver, Denise Lashua of Greenville NH, Donna Richard of Millville, Debbie Laythe and D'Etta Hill both of Middletown CT. His parents, George and Florence (Edwards) Laythe; his brother, Emerson Charles Laythe; two sisters: Beatrice Hanlon and Irene Beaudry, all passed before him. Mr. Laythe was born March 8, 1924 in Barton VT, was raised there working on the family farm and then was a logger before coming to Grafton in 1961 where he worked at the former Lake Ripple Restaurant until retiring.
