'WILL MEETS SKILLS' BASKETBALL ACADEMY: runs Sundays, through Nov. 3, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $100. This program is presented by Clinton Youth Basketball and is for boys and girls in grades 7 and up who are serious about improving their skills and already have intermediate skills. TRADITIONAL RUSSIAN TEA: with Larissa Dyan, at the Museum of Russian Icons, on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. Experience tea service from a samovar, practice some Russian vocabulary and engage in lively conversation while enjoying a variety of teas and traditional Russian accompaniments, including pryanik (gingerbread), chocolate, buckwheat honey, black current jam and other treats.

OPENING THE TOP OF WACHUSETT DAM: for the public to walk across on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. The Department of Conservation and Recreation Watershed Rangers will be on hand to answer questions and to provide other information on DCR's watershed protection program. For information or directions, contact the Wachusett Reservoir Ranger Station at (978) 365-3800. Due to increased security backpacks, briefcases and other large bags will not be allowed at this event. All other items brought to the event may be subject to search.

DAUGHTERS OF ISABELLA: will hold a meeting on Monday, Oct. 14, in the Parish Center, at 6 p.m., to discuss some important issues. Anyone wishing to become a member may attend.

WINNIPESAUKEE SCENIC RAILROAD TRIP: on Saturday, Oct. 26. The cost per person is $75 and includes driver's gratuity. The group departs at 8:30 a.m., and returns to the station at 2:30 p.m., with a final stop at the Christmas Tree Shop on the way home.
