WINTER COAT DRIVE: The Clinton High School Technology Education Department is collecting adult and children's winter coats to support individuals and families who are experiencing economic and personal challenges. Coats will be delivered to WHEAT Community Services on High Street. Coats may be dropped off at the high school during school hours.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE: hosted by the Clinton High School Student Council, will be Friday, Dec. 19, at Clinton High, 200 West Boylston St., from 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled every 15 minutes. For an appointment, email the student council at gaelsgive@clinton.k12.ma.us.

'GHENGIS BLUES': the extraordinary odyssey of a blind Massachusetts blues musician who teaches himself the art of Tuvan "throat-signing,'' and is invited to compete in the 1995 throat-signing festival in Kyzyl, central Asia. The film will be shown on Saturday, Jan. 3, at 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, at 5 p.m., and Saturday, Jan. 17, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $8 for museum members, $12 for nonmembers.
