Judge James R. Lemire

John Lynch, 23, of 405 Litchfield St., Leominster, sentenced to 2 years in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony. He was sentenced to six months in the House of Correction, to begin upon his release from the first sentence, after pleading guilty to larceny from a building. He was placed on five concurrent terms of 3 years' probation, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to three counts of larceny from a building, unarmed burglary, and possession of heroin. As conditions of probation, he was ordered to have no contact and to stay away from the victim, to remain drug- and alcohol-free, to undergo mental health and substance abuse evaluations with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department, to seek and maintain school or employment, and to pay $150 drug fee, $90 victim witness fee.

Michael Booth, 29, of 70 Heritage Lane, Leominster, sentenced to 2 years to 2 years and a day in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to attempted murder. He was placed on six concurrent terms of 5 years' probation, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery, malicious destruction of property under $250, intimidation of a witness, and using a vehicle without authority. As conditions of probation, he was ordered to have no direct or indirect contact and to stay away from the victims, to remain drug- and alcohol-free including marijuana, to undergo a mental health evaluation with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department, to attend a batterers' program, to submit to GPS monitoring for the first year, not to possess weapons including knives, and to pay $90 victim witness fee, $65 probation fee.
