Judge John S. McCann
Jeffrey S. Berglund, 51, of 22 Indian Hill Road, Worcester, was sentenced to three to five years in Walpole State Prison after pleading guilty to armed robbery (handgun). He was placed on probation for three years, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to armed assault with intent to rob (handgun). As conditions of probation, he was ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluations with any related treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department and to submit to random drug tests.
Judge Francis R. Fecteau
Jessenia Cruz, 25, of 25 Hooper St., Worcester, was charged with trafficking in heroin. The charge was dismissed at the request of the commonwealth.
Jorge L. Nieves, 23, of 53 Raymond St., Worcester, was sentenced to five to seven years in Walpole State Prison after pleading guilty to trafficking in heroin. The sentence is to run forthwith and not withstanding any other sentences now being served.

Pedro A. Then, 21, of 83 Gates St., Worcester, charged with violation of an abuse prevention order, dismissed without prejudice.
Dana P. Brown, 45, of 7 Marston Way, Worcester, charged with trespassing and breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony and putting a person in fear, dismissed without prejudice.
Jaime Burgos, 24, of 17 New Vista Lane, Worcester, charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (soda can), assault with a dangerous weapon (knife), and intimidation of a witness, dismissed without prejudice.
