Judge Ernest B. Murphy

Justin Dion-Ballairo, 20, of 8 Eagleview Road, Douglas, was sentenced to two to three years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to armed robbery (knife). The charge was amended from armed robbery while masked (knife).

Amos Youngsma, 20, of 230 Chestnut St., Uxbridge, was sentenced to two to three years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to armed robbery (knife). The charge was amended from armed robbery while masked (knife).

Russell J. Buckley, 26, of Norwood, was sentenced to two concurrent terms of five to six years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to two counts of armed robbery. He was placed on six concurrent terms of two years' probation, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to home invasion, armed burglary (knife), and four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (sword, shod foot, knife). As conditions of probation, he was ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluations, with any related treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department. Alves, 18, of 25 Ellsmere St., Worcester, charged with improper use of a credit card over $250, identity fraud, assault with a dangerous weapon (blunt object), two counts of attempting to commit a crime (identity fraud, improper use of a credit card), larceny over $250, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, placed on probation for nine months, ordered to pay $411.08 restitution; and disturbing the peace, filed with a guilty finding.

Donald J. Connors, 49, of 19 Vigeant St., Ware, charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or .08 percent (second offense), amended from driving while under the influence of drugs (second offense), and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, placed on probation for two years, ordered to remain drug- and alcohol-free, to submit to random drug tests, and to attend a 14-day inpatient program, loss of license for two years, $50 victim witness fee; and possession of an open container of alcoholic beverages in public, filed with a guilty finding.
