Rivers, 20, of 120 Southgate St., Worcester, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, distribution of a Class C substance, possession of a Class C substance, two counts of distribution of a Class E substance, two counts of possession of a Class E substance, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, two counts of defacing the serial number on a firearm, two counts of possession of a sawed-off shotgun, and five counts of drug violation near a school or park. The charges were nol prossed. A nol pros, or nolle prosequi, is a court filing reflecting a prosecutor's decision not to proceed with a criminal case after charges have been brought.
