Justin Couepel, 25, of 103 Harrison St., Worcester, was sentenced to four concurrent terms of 5 to 7 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (blunt object). He was placed on three concurrent terms of 5 years probation, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to home invasion, armed assault in a dwelling (blunt object), and armed burglary (blunt object). As conditions of probation, he was ordered to have no direct or indirect contact with the victim, to maintain employment, to undergo drug and alcohol evaluations with any related treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department and to submit to random drug tests.
Scott Ogilvie, 44, of 36 Coral St., Worcester, was sentenced to four concurrent terms of 5 to 7 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (blunt object). He was placed on three concurrent terms of 5 years probation, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to home invasion, armed assault in a dwelling (blunt object), and armed burglary (blunt object). As conditions of probation, he was ordered to undergo a substance abuse evaluation with any related treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department, to submit to random drug tests, and to have no direct or indirect contact with the victim.

Christopher A. Schauer, 36, of 18 Veterans Parkway, Uxbridge, was sentenced to three concurrent terms of 3 to 4 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to two counts of statutory rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. He was placed on two concurrent terms of 5 years probation, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to statutory rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. As a condition of probation, he was ordered to register as a sex offender.

Eric G. Brown, 32, of 45 Waverly St., Worcester, charged with possession of clonazepam with intent to distribute, amended from possession of clonazepam with intent to distribute (subsequent offense), sentenced to one year in the House of Correction; possession of clonazepam and possession of cocaine, sentenced to two concurrent terms of six months in the House of Correction; distribution of clonazepam (subsequent offense) and drug violation near a school or park, dismissed.
Jimmie Cotto Jr., 20, of 66 Waverly St., Worcester, charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, amended from possession of heroin with intent to distribute (subsequent offense), sentenced to 18 months in the House of Correction, with 9 months to be served, balance suspended for 2 years, ordered to remain drug- and alcohol-free, to undergo drug and alcohol evaluations with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department, to submit to random drug tests, not to be anywhere drugs are kept, and not to associate with anyone who uses or sells illegal substances, $90 victim witness fee; possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, sentenced to a concurrent term of six months in the House of Correction; possession of marijuana, filed with a guilty finding; and drug violation near a school or park, dismissed.
