The following correction was published May 27, 2007: WORCESTER- Isaac Jourdian told police his name was Desmond Kamara when he was arrested on drug charges on Nov. 30, 2000, and also provided Mr Kamara's date of birth and Social Security number as his own, according to Central District Court records. As a result, Mr. Kamara's name appeared in various Courthouse Records listings concerning the case through March 2001. Mr. Kamara, a Worcester resident, never was charged with the crimes and court records have been changed to reflect that Mr. Jourdian was the defendant in the case. ------------------------ COLUMN: COURTHOUSE RECORDS WORCESTER SUPERIOR COURT Judge James P. Donohue Leon-Pena Serso, also known as Pablo Paulina, 28, of Lawrence, was found not guilty by a jury of trafficking in cocaine. Judge Timothy S. Hillman Rashad L. Minor, 23, of 106 Eastern Ave., Worcester, was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in the Worcester County House of Correction after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. The charge was amended from trafficking in cocaine. The charges of trespassing, resisting arrest and disorderly person were filed after guilty pleas. WORCESTER CENTRAL DISTRICT COURT JURY SESSION Jury-Waived Cases Judge Austin T. Philbin Keith Safo, also known as Kofi Safo, 25, last known address of 28 Travis St., Worcester, charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (keys), continued without finding for one year; and assault, dismissed. CRIMINAL AND TRAFFIC SESSIONS Judge Douglas W. Stoddart Larry McClain, 25, of 4 Crown St., Worcester, charged with violation of an abuse prevention order, continued without finding for six months. Desmond Kamara, also known as Isaac Jourdain, (SEE CORRECTION) 21, of 17 Austin St., Worcester, charged with distribution of cocaine, amended from possession with intent to distribute cocaine, sentenced to six months in the House of Correction with 10 days to serve, balance suspended for one year; ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment and to submit to random drug tests; distribution of cocaine, sentenced to six months in the House of Correction with 100 days to serve, balance suspended for one year; and two counts of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, amended from conspiracy to violate a drug law, filed with a guilty finding.
