Worcester Superior Court

Judge James R. Lemire

Reshey Chambers, 23, of 44 Barkley St., Worcester, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in the House of Correction, with 18 months to be served, after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. The charge was amended from trafficking in cocaine. The balance of the sentence was suspended for 3 years with probation. As conditions of probation, he was ordered not to possess knives or weapons and to undergo a substance abuse evaluation with any related treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department. He was sentenced to a concurrent term of 30 days in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to a concurrent term of 10 days in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended license. A charge of refusing to identify himself to police was filed after a guilty plea.

Cruz, 37, of Springfield, charged with child endangerment while driving under the influence of alcohol, sentenced to 90 days in the House of Correction, suspended for 2 years; driving under the influence of alcohol or .08 percent (second offense), placed on probation for 2 years, ordered to remain drug and alcohol free, to submit to random drug tests, and to attend a 14-day inpatient program, two years' license loss, $250 head injury fee, $50 victim witness fee; driving negligently, driving with a suspended license, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, dismissed.

Thomas J. MacKenzie, 28, of 27 Church St., Spencer, charged with driving with a suspended license, dismissed, $100 costs; and speeding, found responsible, fined $180, $50 head injury fee.

Elinas V. Molina, 27, of Waltham, charged with driving with a suspended license, registration not in possession, and state highway traffic violation, continued to May 4.

Landal Williams, 41, of 57 Greenwood St., Worcester, charged with driving with a suspended license (subsequent offense), having a nontransparent or obstructed window, and possession of cocaine (subsequent offense), continued to May 1on $1,000 cash bail.
