Triston Lewin, 24, of 493 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 3 to 4 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (firearm) and carrying a firearm without a license. He was sentenced to a concurrent term of 2 years in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm without a firearm ID card. Charges of home invasion and three counts of armed assault in a dwelling (firearm) were dismissed.

Christian Lopez, 20, of 19 Crestwood Drive, Southbridge, was sentenced to 21/2 years in the House of Correction, with 1 year to be served, after pleading guilty to breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony. The charge was amended from armed burglary. The balance of the sentence was suspended for 2 years with probation. As conditions of probation, he was ordered to have no contact and to stay away from the victims, not to possess weapons, and to pay $90 victim witness fee, $65 probation fee. A charge of home invasion was dismissed.

Gildaniel Pizzarro-Carrion, 29, of 147 Fourth St., Worcester, was sentenced to 3 to 5 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to possession of heroin with intent to distribute. The charge was amended from possession of heroin with intent to distribute (subsequent offense). He was placed on probation for 2 years, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to conspiracy to violate a drug law. As conditions of probation, he was ordered to remain drug- and alcohol-free, to submit to random drug tests, and to undergo a substance abuse evaluation with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department. Charges of trafficking in heroin, morphine, or opium, possession of heroin with intent to distribute (subsequent offense), trafficking in cocaine, and two counts of drug violation near a school or park were dismissed.

Steven Jaynes, 42, of 3 Rosita Road, Worcester, was sentenced to 1 to 11/2 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to receiving stolen property over $250. The sentence is to run forthwith and not withstanding any other sentences now being served. He was placed on probation for 2 years, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to being an accessory after the fact of a crime.
