John Murray, 49, of 7 Hampden St., Worcester, was found not guilty by a jury on charges of rape, assault and battery, and intimidation of a witness. He was ordered to pay $150 legal counsel fee.

Thuan Hieu, 26, of 1 Ives St., Worcester, was sentenced to 2 years to 2 years and a day in Walpole State Prison after pleading guilty to armed assault (knife) with intent to murder. He was placed on probation for 3 years, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife). As conditions of probation, he was ordered to remain drug- and-alcohol free, to undergo a substance abuse evaluation with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department, to submit to random drug tests, not to possess weapons, and to pay $90 victim witness fee, $65 probation fee.

Olivia Gonyea, 24, of Framingham State Prison, was sentenced to 2-1/2 to 3 years in Framingham State Prison after pleading guilty to armed assault with intent to rob. She was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 2 years in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to two counts of assault and battery. She was placed on probation for 2 years, to begin upon her release, after pleading guilty to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon . As conditions of probation, she was ordered to remain drug- and alcohol-free, to undergo a substance abuse evaluation with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department, to submit to random drug tests, and to pay $65 probation fee.
