Matthew P. Barry, 31, of Erving, was sentenced to four concurrent terms of 6 to 8 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a firearm ID card and two counts of firearm violation with one prior violent or drug crime, amended from two counts of firearm violation with three prior violent of drug crimes. He was sentenced to a concurrent term of 21/2 years in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to resisting arrest. A charge of knowingly having in possession or control a firearm in a vehicle was dismissed at the request of the commonwealth.

Dezmond Jackson, 21, of 40 Beaconsfield Road, Worcester, charged with disorderly conduct, found responsible, fined $100; failing to stop for police and disturbing the peace, dismissed.

Mark A. Desourdy, 34, of 161 Millbury St., Worcester, charged with driving with a suspended license (subsequent offense), amended from driving with a suspended license, placed on probation for 1 year, $50 victim witness fee.

Kenneth Davila, 47, of 70 Canterbury St., Worcester, charged with assault and battery on ambulance personnel and assault, continued to Dec. 2.

Gilberto Chaves, 34, of 600 Main St., Worcester, charged with failing to register as a sex offender (prior qualifying offense), sentenced to 6 months in the House of Correction; and failing to register as a sex offender (subsequent offense), dismissed.

Guilherme Chaves, 21, of Framingham, charged with three counts of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, continued without a finding for 1 year, $50 victim witness fee; disorderly conduct, trespassing, and disturbing the peace, found responsible, filed; and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot), dismissed without prejudice.
