Carlos R. Pitre, 42, of 116 Riverview Place, Southbridge, was sentenced to three concurrent terms of 21/2 years in the House of Correction, with 2 years to be served, after pleading guilty to possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, amended from trafficking in cocaine, and two counts of possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, amended from two counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. The balance of the sentence was suspended for 3 years with probation. As conditions of probation, he was ordered to remain drug-free, to undergo a substance abuse evaluation with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department, to submit to random drug tests, and to pay $150 legal counsel fee, $90 victim witness fee and $65 monthly probation fee. Two counts of drug violation near a school or park were dismissed at the request of the commonwealth
