Judge Peter W. Agnes Jr.

Darin Rojas, 32 , of Lawrence, was sentenced to 3 to 4 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to possession of heroin with intent to distribute. The charge was amended from trafficking heroin, morphine, or opium. He was sentenced to a concurrent term of 1 year in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was sentenced to a concurrent term of 10 days in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended license.

Edmond L. Hughes, 21, of 244 Madison St., Fitchburg, charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (bottle), assault and battery, amended from assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (beer), and resisting arrest, found not guilty; and disorderly conduct, fined $250, $50 victim witness fee.

Joseph Tellier, 53, of Ormond Beach, Fla., charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or .08 percent, amended from driving under the influence of alcohol or .08 percent (second offense), placed on probation for 1 year, ordered to attend a driver alcohol education program, 45 days license loss, $250 state fee, $250 head injury fee, $50 victim's assessment fee, $50 victim witness fee; marked lanes violation, found not responsible; and driving negligently, dismissed.
