Season outlook: With 11 players returning and several promising newcomers, the AmCats expect a highly competitive season. A challenging nonconference schedule includes trips to the Connecticut College and Wesleyan tournaments, No. 2-ranked Amherst, and local rivals Clark and Becker, but should prepare the team for conference play.

Season outlook: The Hawks return most of their team, including NECC first-team all-star Ford-Hayes and NECC second-team all-star Maturah. Hill is expected to make an immediate impact.

Promising newcomers: So. F Vuk Balticek (transfer from Division 1 Monmouth), Fr. F Shea Whalen.

Key losses: G Jake Gubitose (Tantasqua, 4.2 ppg, 2.3 apg), G Marcus Armstrong (4.6 ppg, 3.9 rpg)

Season outlook: The Cougars return two of the league's best players at their respective positions in DaPrato and Musler, who are both difficult matchups. With LaLima entrenched as the lead guard after gaining valuable experience as a freshman, Clark's future looks bright. If they can find a third scoring option -- look for it to be Mercier or the 6-foot-7, 230-pound Balticek -- the Cougars...
