Doris I.

WORCESTER Doris I. (Lavallie) Army, 93, formerly of Worcester and Auburn, passed away Wednesday, December 8th 2010 with her devoted son and daughter-in-law by her side. Doris' husband of 58 years, Howard H. Army passed away in 1997.

She is survived by her son, Wayne H. Army and his wife Kathleen of Sutton; four cherished grandsons, Brian W. Army and his wife Laurie of Shrewsbury, Bruce W. Army and his wife Jennifer of Epsom NH, Brendan W. Army and his fiancee Jennifer Wright of Yarmouth MA; four great grandchildren whom she adored and they adored her, Christian, Harrison, Matthew and Hannah Rose; many dear nieces, nephews and extended family. Five brothers, Henry, Frederick, Rudolph, Edward and Robert and three sisters, Gladys, Marion and Claire all pre deceased her.

Doris was born in Worcester, one of nine children born to Henry and Mary L. (Goyette) Lavallie. She graduated from Commerce High, married and raised her children in Worcester, moving to Auburn several years ago and to Millbury recently.
