WEST BROOKFIELD Dorothy M. (Bottomley) Mitchell, 88, of East Main St., died peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Quaboag on the Common surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves one daughter, Catherine Sullivan-Lindquist of West Brookfield; one son, Paul Mitchell and his wife Diane of Spencer; one sister, Elizabeth Urban of West Brookfield; six grandchildren, Scott Sullivan of Clearwater, FL, Mark Sullivan of Quincy, Corey Sullivan of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Brian Sullivan of Providence, RI, and Eric Mitchell and Kelly Mitchell of Spencer; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Hannah of Clearwater, FL and several nieces and nephews. Her husband Grover Mitchell died in 1984 and a son, Dale Mitchell died in 1966.

She was born in Esmond, RI son of the late William M. and Katherine A. (McDonald) Bottomley and grew up and lived in North Brookfield before moving to West Brookfield in 1987.
