Fitchburg 12, Wachusett 1

Junior catcher Nicole Dupuis' two-run homer cleared the fence in left-center field as the host Red Raiders (1-1, 1-0 Mid-Wach A) defeated the Mountaineers.

Kate Murray, who scored on the homer, went 3 for 3 with a double for Fitchburg, while Bianca Leblanc was 4 for 4 with a double and triple. Jill Ruane and MacKenzie Kewley each had two hits for Wachusett (0-4, 0-1).

Milford 3, Leominster 2

Lauren Besozzi's bases-loaded single to deep left-center with no outs in the bottom of the ninth won it for the host Scarlet Hawks (4-0). Milford sophomore Andrea Smith had a career-high 13 strikeouts and allowed three hits.

Leominster (3-1) had an RBI from Jordan Storro and a home run from Kelsey Orero.

Gardner 5, Notre Dame 0

Senior ace Elyssa Boris threw a one-hitter, striking out 12, to lead the visiting top-ranked Wildcats (2-0) in this nonleague matchup. Her sister, Nikki, belted a two-run homer, while Kayla Davis had an RBI.

The No. 8 Rebels fell to 3-3.

Littleton 20, Bromfield 6

Freshman center fielder Megan Wodzinski went 5 for 5 with a triple and five RBIs for the Tigers (1-1) in a win over the Trojans (0-2) in Harvard.

Senior pitcher Brittany Patridge had four RBIs on three hits for Littleton.

Third baseman Karen Nelson collected two singles and an RBI for Bromfield.

Ayer 8, Tahanto 7

The visiting Panthers (4-0) scored all of their runs in first. Tahanto (3-2) got solid outings from Laura Murphy (4-4, 2 RBI) and Brandy Richmond (2-4, double).

Nashoba 9, Algonquin 0

Senior shortstop Hannah Pirez hit a two-run homer and the host Chieftains defeated the Tomahawks (1-3).

Freshman left fielder Hannah Collins singled twice and senior right-hander Stephanie Manzo struck out four for Nashoba (3-1).

Monty Tech 8, Assabet 0

Sophomore Kelly Lacroix collected eight strikeouts and had two hits and two RBIs for the Bulldogs (2-0) in a win over the Aztecs (2-2) in Fitchburg.

Freshmen Paige Quinn and Sarah Colburn each had RBI triples for Monty Tech.

Narragansett 11, Murdock 5

Senior Sarah Hamel went 3 for 3 with two RBIs as the seventh-ranked Warriors defeated the visiting third-ranked Blue Devils (2-1, 0-1) in a Mid-Wach C game.

Senior shortstop Amanda Gauthier was 3 for 3 with three RBIs, and junior second baseman Kaitlin Burhoe was 2 for 4 for Narragansett (3-0, 1-0).
