Elsie L. 'Ellie' (Skalin) Biscardi, 89.

WORCESTER Elsie L. "Ellie" (Skalin) Biscardi, 89, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Friday, July 8, 2011.

She leaves a daughter, Jean Enhus of FL; 2 sons, Frank J. Biscardi, Jr. of Gloucester, and Nicholas W. and his wife Nancy Biscardi of Holden; 5 grandchildren, Debra, Donna, Steven, Dominic, and Nicholas; and 5 great-grandchildren. Elsie was predeceased by two brothers, William and Leon Skalin and one sister, Britta.

Elsie was born in Sweden, daughter of Karl and Brita (Viklund) Skalin. She graduated from High School and worked for many years as a nurses aide at Worcester State Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester, enjoyed spending time with her family, especially wintering with her daughter in Florida, and was an avid Red Sox fan.
