Ethel May (Dobeck) Gentsch, 95.

CLINTON Ethel May (Dobeck) Gentsch, 95, formerly of Auburn St., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Sylvester Healthcare Center in Georgia. She is preceded in death by her first husband of 24 years, Lawrence H. Charbonneau and her second husband of 23 years, Earl Max Gentsch. She leaves her son, Paul Johnson and his wife Roxanne of Chattanooga, TN; her daughter, Lois Janda and her husband Kevin of Albany, GA; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She leaves her sister-in law, Corinne Dobeck of Clinton; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Raymond Dobeck.

Ethel was born in Clinton to the late Otto and Theresa (Zumhagen) Dobeck. She attended local schools and was a graduate of the Clinton High School Class of 1934. She began employment with the Ray-O-Vac Company in Clinton and later worked as a clerk for several local...
