Worcester State 1, Bridgewater State 0;

Worcester State 2, Bridgewater State 1: Junior Hannah Everson threw the first perfect game in school history, striking out 12 in the opener for the Lancers (16-14, 8-2 MASCAC) at Rockwood Field.

Carolyn Hassett had two hits for Worcester State, which scored its run on a throwing error in the sixth inning.

After striking out the first two batters in the seventh, Everson then assisted on the final out on a ground ball back to the circle.

Everson also earned the win in the second game, pitching four scoreless innings of relief, while Lauren Besozzi homered and Kaitlyn Storro had an RBI single.

Bucknell 4, Holy Cross 2;

Bucknell 3, Holy Cross 2: Senior Nicole Ortiz hit her fourth career home run and second of the season to lead the Crusaders (8-30, 3-13 PL) in Game 1, while sophomores Kelliner Croushore and Alex Gustafson both went 2 for 4 in Game 2 in Lewisburg, Pa.

Clark 1, Brandeis 0;

Brandeis 8, Clark 3: Molly Clark came in to run for Shawna Amatucci, who walked with one out in the seventh inning, advanced to second on a bunt and then took third and scored on wild pitches to give the host Cougars (17-17) a win in the first game, although they only recorded one hit.

The win was the 400th career victory for Clark coach Linda Wage, who has coached for the last 24 seasons.

Caroline Miller threw the one-hitter for the Judges (19-13), with Mel Melkonian of Worcester getting Clark's only hit with a one-out double in the sixth. Nicole Meuse countered with a two-hitter for the Cougars.

Melkonian went 2 for 4 with an RBI in the second game.

Elms 5, Becker 0;

Elms 8, Becker 2: Shawna Drown doubled and Kaitlyn Kenney and Lauren Lavalle scored for the Hawks (10-23) in the second game in Leicester.

Framingham State 15, Fitchburg State 3;

Framingham State 4, Fitchburg State 2: Alycia McGrail and Victoria Brinkley each had two hits in the nightcap as the Falcons (13-21, 4-6 MASCAC) were swept by the host Rams (15-19, 4-6).

MIT 1, WPI 0;

MIT 4, WPI 2: Erin Flaherty tossed a three-hitter, striking out seven and walking one, and Katie Bumila had two hits for WPI (24-15, 9-8 NEWMAC) in the opener.

MIT won the nightcap with two runs in the eighth inning, while Juliana Fekete and Erin Beaulieu both had two hits for WPI.

Nichols 3, Eastern Nazarene 1;

Nichols 11, Eastern Nazarene 3: Senior Molly Ferraro won both ends of the doubleheader and went 2 for 3 with a double, RBI single and two runs in the second game.
