SHREWSBURY - The sister of a Shrewsbury man accused of killing his wife Thursday was arrested last night on charges of accessory to murder and child endangerment.

Lisa Ricardo, 38, of 106 Wilbur St., Raynham, was arrested last night and charged with accessory to murder after the fact and two counts of child endangerment. She is in custody at the Shrewsbury Police Department, and will be arraigned Monday in Westboro District Court, according to the Worcester district attorney's office.

Ms. Ricardo's brother, Keith M. Brown wrote in a statement of facts provided to the court.

The Worcester district attorney's office did not elaborate on Ms. Ricardo's connection to the murder. Spokesman Timothy J. Connolly said he could not provide information beyond what was contained in a press release. District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. had said in a press conference Thursday that the Rosiellos' two children, ages 12 and 6, were safe and staying with relatives. Last night, the district attorney's office said the children were in the custody of the state Department of Children and Families.

In court yesterday, a disheveled Mr. Rosiello wore plain department-issued clothing, because the clothes he was wearing the afternoon of his arrest had been collected as evidence, Mr. Rosiello's lawyer said after the arraignment.
