Florence A. Comey.

WESTBORO - Florence A. "Garcie" (Smith) Comey, 97, of Westboro, died Sept. 21.

She was the wife of the late George A. Comey, who died in 1971.

Born Aug. 7, 1911, in Midville Branch, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Anna (Crouse) Smith.

She and her husband were the former owners of Comey Oil Company in Westboro.

She was a resident of Westboro for 75 years.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Nancy Perkins Ward of Westboro; and grandson, John Perkins Jr. of Westboro; and many nieces and nephews here in the United States and in Nova Scotia.
