FITCHBURG -- Women in Technology is a no pink zone.
It may seem a coincidence that none of the logo designs and T-shirts for the 10 teams of female high school students in the Women in Technology program feature the color pink. But there are no oversights in a process that has evolved with deliberate and careful thought:

"We don't have anything against pink,'' said Gardner High School student Caitlyn Bosse at the WIT Project Presentations last week at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School.
But still, she and teammate Tahina LaCroix chose forest green for their shirts and felt it was "an important decision.''
