Born in Orono, Maine, he was raised in Worcester and was a graduate of St. Peter's High School. Frank was the son of Walter J. and Minnie M. (Park) Dolan. Frank served with the US Coast Guard during World War II assigned to the US Navy off the Philippine Islands. Frank leaves a son, Stephen Dolan, of Kennebunk, Maine and his wife Kathleen.
