WORCESTER Frank J. Serafin, 58, of Worcester, died peacefully in his home after a long illness on Monday, July 11, 2011 with his daughter by his side. He is survived by his daughter, Tara Brock; a granddaughter, Tiyara, both of Worcester and his brother, Matthew Serafin and his wife Martha of Shrewsbury. He was born in Worcester a son of Matthew J. and Theresa (Kruczynski) Serafin.

Mr. Serafin was a clerk with the US Postal Service for many years before retiring. He attended Doherty High School and graduated from the College of the Holy Cross. During his youth he was active in sports, particularly basketball and was an avid Celtics fan. The family would...
