Gary A. MessengerGrafton/Worcester - Gary A. Messenger, 74, of Worcester, formerly of Grafton, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, October 26, 2014. His loving wife, Carmella (Pellegrino) Messenger, predeceased him in November 2003.Gary is survived by his two loving sons, Gary Messenger of Worcester and Daniel Messenger of Millbury; two brothers, Greg Messenger of Warren, Ohio and Mark Messenger and his wife Jeanie of Leavittsburg, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Pat Messenger. Gary was born in Akron, Ohio, son of the late Alten and Shirley (Wagner) Messenger. He served his nation proudly in the United States Navy, and met his wife, while stationed in this area; together they settled in Grafton, where they lived for many years.Gary worked as a toll collector for many years, on the Massachusetts Turnpike, retiring in 1998.
