WORCESTER/HOLDEN Gloria Y. (Kudzol) Fletcher, a resident of Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, died peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2011, her 80th birthday, in the company of her loving family. She was born in Dudley on September 29, 1931, the daughter of Francis and Blanche (Lefebvre) Kudzol and has lived in Worcester for the past 6 years. Prior to living in Worcester she lived in Hampton, NH.

Gloria lost her loving husband of 48 years, Henry W. Fletcher in 2000. She is survived by her son, Daryl P. Fletcher and his wife Barbara Perin of Boulder, Colorado; her daughter, Melissa A. McDonald and her husband Gerald C. McDonald of Rutland; her two grandchildren, Andrew Fletcher, M.D. and his wife Karin Fletcher of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine and Jesse Fletcher of Dudley; two great-grandchildren and a nephew. She is predeceased by her sister Lorraine B. Manley.

She graduated from South High School in Worcester and went on to work for State Mutual Insurance Company in their Worcester office for over 20 years. She had been an active member of St. George Church in Worcester for many years.
